Adding gauges

pop-ups
Go to pop-up indicators and place on the flat of the dash above your current indicators. Make a nice two gauge bezel and place in the cutout where your trim indicators are now.

Those pop up indicators are huge money !!!
You could get a sheet of aluminum and make a new panel and move the gages around so as to have more room. I did that on my 24 Outlaw. You could cover it with that cool carbon fiber look vinyl or whatever you wanted to to change the look.
Or you could buy gage pods like in the picture below. I got them from Livorsi.
And for those that are trying to figure it out, the gages in the upper corners are real time air/fuel ratio gages

pop ups....
I agree the pop ups are expensive....check out this thread on the boating on a budget forum here on OSO...couple guys are offering to make them at a reasonable price; should hook up to your existing cables.

Also, I recently purchased the pods at Dana, see link:

Yup go with the pods like Doc Holiday did in his 36. I can find a photo somewhere, but I remember them being Dana's.
Your only other choice is on the starboard wall above the trim switches. You won't really be watching these 100% of the time. Just put red markers at high & low, then your eyes catch when they are out of norm.
