i have been researching shorty lowers on my boat, seems like it is hit and miss on using shortys and extension boxes (also a consideration) depending on the boat. i am wondering if anyone has tried one on this hull, what kind of power they had and what the results were. i found a imco -2 shorty for a reasonble price, i am not sure which style it is but it has no nose cone and the cavitation plate appears to be shorter. it seems that a 25 outlaw has a similar hull so anyone with a 25 outlaw may be able to help out here.
