Default Extention boxes or X dim. used?

Has anyone used extention boxes or a higher X on the Baja performance boats(Hammer, 232, H2X ect.)? I remember someone talking about a 100mph Hammer a while back and was wondering if the drive height or length was messed with. I talked with IMCO about the 2" shorty drive and they said it might not work on my H2X due to the rocker in the Baja hull. He said an extention may be the way to go but could not say for sure.
Also, Would a 32 Bravo give me the same RPM as my 30 Hydromotive Q4? I'm wondering if I need to get a little looser on my pad for more speed. I have a feeling I will lose some handling up top but wonder if this will work. I spin the 30 at 5100 with @ 14% slip. Thanks for the help!

Imco told us to do a raised extension box instead of the shorter drive. We did gears first.

What motor do you have in your H2X and what has been done to it?

502 MAG with gil headers, MSD ignition, a stage 3 PRO-CHARGER at 4 lbs. of boost, nose cone, drive shower, 1.36 gears. The gears are new we tried the 30 bravo 4-blade. Next a 28 bravo 4-blade. We like the bravo's so far. With the 1.50's and a Hydromotive lab finished 32 we GPS 88.6. We kept having problems with our hubs. So we tried the bravo at the Lake of the Ozarks Shooters Shoot Out. We lost 4.1 MPH. The next time out we blew the gears! How fast is yours?

Js2, That's movin' at 4psi-AWESOME! The best radar was at 84mph on the money so far with the HydroQIV 30(1.50 gear). This is with a stage 2 at 6psi on a worked 502efi. I just posted in tech Q&A about the switch to a bravo for more bow lift. You may have talked me out of trying one. How is the handling at full speed? Mine feels awesome-no funny stuff. How did the cone work for you and what brand did you use? I have the Bravo with a low water pickup. Keep me posted. There dont seem to be many worked H2x's around. Thanks.
Liquid, Thanks for the info. Was that boat blown with a 540? I can't remember his setup. I do recall that Hammer being one of the fastest on the planet! Thanks

We did a custom nosecone a fisk it works great. It is fine till about 86 the boat is all the way out of the water and lost rutter. I wouldn't want to go that fast very long either. We just GPS it and that is it! Racing we will run mid 80's no problem.
