Default SOLD my 252, and doing paperwork on a 342.......

Here we go!

Sold it yesterday. trying to get marine morgage crap done for me to pick it up this weekend.

my bank need a copy of the title and the broker thinks its stupid.

My broker also will not let me leave with the boat until the check CLEARS (cashiers check). so i have to pay for it, and THEN go see it in person and if i dont like they will refund, other wise i cant leave with the boat for a few days.. and thats ot happening.

Congrats on the sale and good luck on the purchase!

I'm sure your bank just wants to see if there's a lein on it.

When I bought mine, I immediately had it CG documented during the sales process so it was never state titled in my name. Every state is different. Every bank requires different things too. My bank (US Bank) required it to be documented. Then at the closing they didn't know what the abstract of title was for I basically had to walk them through the process.

I used a service and they handled all the paperwork and the bank for me. Well worth not getting headaches over it!!

the boat is not documented, and my bank does not require it. SO i am not going to do it....

I am not to worried about theift from pirates, and I would put the state registration stickers on it anyway. (so the popo leaves me alone)

I am excited!
The list of stuff I need to do to it...
Marine Band Radio/antenna.
GPS in the dash.
underwater LEDs...

and a full cover that coverd th side too , dont want it facding away on me.

2002 Baja 342 Boss, 168 hours(496 Mags), Bravo ones, External stereing, Genny (15 hours), AC, vacuflush, stove eye, fridge.

Guys on our lake CG doc their boats to avoid paying state sales tax. That can be a few g's! Your state may be different. They still register thru state to get state reg numbers for same reason, less likely to get stopped.

Dave, I'll take the full red cover you have in stock. I know its not one that covers the hull sides. You said $100 right?

Actually email me the specs and a price for it.

PS I forgot to top off my tank before you took it last fall. Please fill it up before gas hits $6 a gallon. And remember I said two coats of wax this time! Back to my beer.....

Tim,

I do have a few things to go over with you on the project and I will call you soon.

Grab a cooler full of that beer and come on up and we can each wax one side.

I have been working the weekends to get everyones boat done before the weather gets nice. WAIT, that already happened....

I have to go from Huntsville, AL to Austin, TX 863 miles one way.

XT I am thinking about it only way to protect the whole thing.

I don't mind, got 26k for it.

I am excited for sure. Hope it looks like he says it does
