Alot.

I think the 20OL is a 20 degree hull maybe even shallower. The 272 is 24 degree. The 20OL is a sitdown boat, 272 is stand up bolster. 272 is a performance series with a windshield (they did have a wind screen option for them so you may find one with that). Just totally different boats.

20 is like driving a jet ski compared to the 272. Like stated in other post, better comparison would be the Hammer to the 20.

The Hammer and the 20 are both sit down boats, the 272 is a stand up, it is more compared to a 25 OL, (basically the same but one has a windshield)

price points between the 20 and 272 are also much different (about double)

If ur in any kinda rough water at all 272 would be a great boat! Both seems to be very fuel efficient. 272 has a significant amount of storage compared to a 20 ol . I no in my area 272 sells a lot better. Good luck. Just my. .02
