It was company policy to get rid of anything that cluttered production. Here are a few other models that rest with the 36 ol.

Baja 442, 302, 272, 232, 33ol, 29ol, 25ol, & 292 Isl. among others.

Checkmate bought the 275 molds, the 272 evolved into the 275, which evolved into the 278.

Not sure if evolved is the right word, but they replaced each other in terms of 27' performance series offerings.

Ok, true the 275 used the same hull molds as the 272 but you cannot build a 272 anymore, just the 275. The 278 is a new design very simular, but it is the 26ol hull bottom with a molded swim extension on the rear. Watch for the new Checkmate 26 Convincer coming soon. Very cool looking boat with gelcoat graphics and speeds higher than I have seen on the 26 Outlaw, or 275.

I was just talking with him a hour ago. We do all their production bucket seats and interiors for the 250 SXF, 244 ZT, & 275 ZT models.

Noticed that the ZT350 looks pretty sharp inside the cockpit, little simple headrest on the sundeck, but......

Must of only built 1 though, can't find any different color pics of the boat any where!

Wonder if he made any changes to the hull or anything else from the 342?

The new 26 Convincer gives Baja Outlaw folks another choice of builders if they are afraid of the new Baja Company...
