O yea and where better to ask about what Baja boats can be found then on a Baja forum? And as far as asking about a boat I can't afford I am pretty sure that asking of there is anyting in that range is not the same thing. One last thing is that you can't find a 29 outlaw worth a sh__ for your 40 budget the why don't you take out a loan and get something for 60.

He's not being a dick he's telling you like it is, this is a public forum and people are giving you an opinion. I'm Sorry that all you can afford is 20 but I have to agree your not gonna be able to find much in that price range, there's a reason why 30' formulas are cheaper think about it.

Thanks Joker, always try to be friendly and helpful when I can, first time on 1400 posts I have been called a "dick", but, I won't lose sleep over it. Have a great summer!

A boat trader? Or any of the 1000's of marinas/dealers out there that sell/trade boats. Powerboat listings.com and EBay, that's all I can think of right now.

Don't recall saying I couldn't find an Outlaw with sh__ for 40K?
I am looking at one on EBay now.

If I was gonna borrow money I would put the 40 or 50K and finance another 40 and look at an older Outerlimits, since I am aware what 90K buys. But, thanks for the advice.

Michael

real mature posts going on here.... i could go hang out in my duaghters school and here more productive converstaions

so back to the orignal quesion, 30+ foot boat, bravos, big blocks and a trailer for 20k or less and not a baja. this is very doable. he is looking for people to post links, i know for a fact he already has 4 boats in the running, lets give him some more options

leave the baja vs formula fight for the playground. both make a good boat that fits the needs of different people.

If you notice my profile, I have a 2006 37" Active Thunder that I"m re-doing...its the only reason I am selling my Sonic. I am happy with the sonic, it was hands down a better boat than the baja 280. My Sonic is complete right now, I never said it wasnt. I was toying on pulling the motors out of it for the Active.
I also had a Baja 235 before the 280. I have nothing against Bajas, I just think the older ones were poor quality and everyone thinks theyre worth a mint!
