Well that amp that runs the 6.5" is ok running a 2ohm load, or 2 sets of speakers per channel. If it is only running 1 set of speakers on a channel then you could add another set. I would have to look at it agin to know what we did now. Been to long for me to remember.

On a Baja 240 Sport, is the whole back of the boat considdered the Transom?

I am looking to mount speaks above the swimplatform and away from the drive... So is it more called Stern-mounted speakers?

I have a 93 240 sport just installed speakers in swim platform..
U will need a 1" speaker ring extention

A little off of what you are talking about: but i had seen a Scarab guy talking about using small speakers and mounting them on a short light pole and using as a quick disconnect with out wires showing. I thought it was kind of a cool idea. that way you would only have the small anchor light hole.
