These must be the ones your talking about! For that price you could buy 8 and still be into it for less money then one high dollar unit! Unfortunently Walmart only seems to have them in white!!

Anybody try these? The guy e-mailed me and said they're 300 Lumens each.... Price is reasonable at least.

I like the trim tab mount idea. Is it possible to run the wiring through the same transom penetration as the trim tab wiring/hoses? Are they caulked in place, or is there some sort of gasket there?

Was thinking of the drain plug too..... Does it add much brightness overall? I e-mailed the guy and he said no problem to make the strip a bit longer (the full width of the tab) for the same price. Seems very reasonable to me compared to some of the others.

Ordered a set of 12" trim tab LED strips today from the same guy. Looking forward to getting them!
