Question I'm thinking of buying a 1998 322

I currently own a 98 Baja H2X... I was wonding if anyone have any insite on the construction (including likes and problems). I've talked to some people and they say it's a strong hull and the cabin layout is great.

Also I was wondering if anyone has some deseratly needed measuments. I'm really interested in the length and height (boat on the trailer)

Thanks Mike

P.S. How big of a pain would it be to install AC and a generator on this boat and what are the units that Baja installs at the factory

Wink 1998 322

I currently have the boat. It measures 31' 10" in length and sits on my hoist at around 6' 10" in overall height.
I'm 6' 1" tall and I can almost stand up in the cabin, it's got plenty of room down below.
I bought it brand new and have not had one problem.

I'm running 454 MPI 310 hp and have hit 63 mph on the GPS with 5 on board. I'm considering very hard at pulling those engines and installing some 500HP's.

I don't know about putting air cond on board? Why not just get a portable unit and store it below - there's plenty of room.

Any other Q's just e-mail me. [email protected]

Thumbs up

Aces & Eights thanks for the info. I hear ya about the headroom in the cabin!

I think the 500's would be a welcome addition. How fast do you think they will make the boat/

I was aslo thinking about a portable AC unit... Arizona is HOT!

Thanks

Wink

I think it will go around 76 mph, but it sure would be nice to hit 80 mph...

Here's the web site if you want to see it. Go under racing page, it might take a few seconds to load because of the sound byte,

See ya - oh ya the web site needs some touch up I threw it up real quick
