Default Running temp on your 6.2

Quick question for the peeps running a 6.2 mpi. What is your cruising temp? I have a repower with 6 hours on it, new sea water pump and thermostat...it operates at 150 and will climb and stay around 175 when I run 3-4k rpm. Once I idle back down it drops and stays 150. I believe it has a 160 thermo in it. Is this normal or should I look for obstructions? Also, if I feel the exhaust elbow sometimes it is kinda hot and sometimes it is cool as can be. But the temp gauge never rises above 175.

Thanks and Happy 4th!

I think mine seems to act the same way. There are parts of the risers that are seawater cold and others that would burn my hand. Assuming my mech. gauge is working Im mostly in the same range.

My 383s run the same. 170 - 180 if I'm cruising 3 or 4k RPM
