Default Baja 405 Glass

My drivers side front windshield is shattered. Any one have any experience in replacing the glass on boat windshields? Taylor made was next to useless as they say the boat is too old for them to support.

This guy built a complete windshield for my buddies 272 when he busted his curved glass. To remake that one piece he was quoted $3500, the guy built him a new windshield for $1200. He had him build it taller and a little more vertical. It looks original, and would never know it wasn't by looking at it.

Thanks. Don't really want to get into a new custom windshield. Between the canvas, the Bimini Tops, and mounting this could quickly become a painful proposition.

I think you mis-read what he posted. He stated that the guy was able to make a taller one overall as a replacement. If the guy can make a completely new one, seems like no challenge to make you one simple replacment piece.

At least give them a call.......
