wake - whats your planned usage, what boats have you had in the past, are you 100% set on a 25OL and for what reasons? These will all help guide you. Also I personally like a newer totally stock boat vs. some of the other 'built' options out there, just always felt like there was less potential for headaches.
im not set on anything 100% and I am open to suggestions other then the baja line of boats. I am only looking at the 25 bajas because you can get a fairly newer, stock, one with the upgraded motor for a very reasonable price. I hate to buy a boat that is anything older then an 02. I am mostly looking for a day cruiser and possibly a weekender. I have a 211 Keywest center console now that I usually take 3-6 people on at a time, but I don't fish and i need something a little quicker so I am looking to unload that.

the boat I'm looking at on ebay looks pretty pristine. The guy told me he'd take 35k now. (he keeps dropping his price). Am I really gonna be able to get a 2005 Baja Outlaw 25 with 225 hours for any cheaper after labor day?

Not to hijack, but we love it. Went out last weekend with wife's sisters family and had plenty of room. (9 total, 3 were small kids)

Rides good but its basically a 35' boat. We got stuck offshore in GOM when storm blew in and had 2_3's with 4' rollers occasionally. Got a LoL wet b/c we were only doing 30 b/c kids were freaking out about black skies , but was soft and got up easily with no tabs.

I personally like the colors and overall look of the boat. Not sure how the price is I haven't done any research on a 25. Nice to have the Mag HO.

the tough thing about coming up with a good price on a 25ol is everyone on the internet is asking 38k-44k for a nice clean 2005+ with a 496HO but are they really getting it?

The 2005 and up are starting in the 40's - not sure if they are getting that but they all are in that same range ! The boat looks clean and if you plan on keeping it I would go for it. The winter will draw the prices down, so if you can hold out I'm sure there s a better deal to be had - just my 02. Good luck in your search/purchase !
