Default Freshening the dash on the 272

Looking to update the tired looking foamy vinyl dash pads. I guess they could be painted with the vinyl paint, but curious if anybody has done anything better.

I have a similar grey colored vinyl dash, and I wrapped my existing gauge panel with carbon fiber wrap I purchased off of Amazon. I also built new switch panels out of ABS plastic (also wrapped) and installed new switches from New Wire Marine (http://newwiremarine.com/) and it's 99% better. Can't justify upgrading the gauges at this point, though I would love to and that would complete the updated look. New steering wheel also helped with the look.
