Bilge Pump Switch Question
My last boat had a two position bilge pump switch, off and auto. However my 25 outlaw has a three position bilge switch. I know that when it is pressed down it is manual. When it is sitting neutral (Flat) is that auto? Or is it on auto when it is pressed up?
Thanks

Without actually checking the switch output with a meter its hard to guess but id venture to say when its in "neutral" its off all together...
and auto when its in the up position
and auto when its in the up position

Usually the middle position is off, but not always. My personal preference is to wire the float switch fused direct to the battery. No forgetting to turn it on, switchs or contacts going bad etc plus when you turn the battery switch off there is no other power going to the dash
