Baja 272 bolster seat question
I have 1995 272 and this summer I hit a wake and I must have been leaned into the seat, causing the screws in the floor to be pulled out. My question is should I just move the seat back from the original hole and drill new ones or should I bolt them inn? I would rather bolt them in so this doesn't happen again. But the other question is how do I get to the bottom of the floor to put the nuts on without pulling the fuel tank out cause its in my way? Or do Ya'll have another idea?
Thanks for the help in advance.

You can use the little zip strip toggle bolts they sell at west marine, its what I used for outside bolts on my scarab to bolt in the seats, when I bolted my 272 seats in properly I used 1/4 stainless bolts and fender washers, pulled gas tank cover up to do it, that cover flexed anyways and we reinforced it while it was out plus most the screws Baja put in to hold gas tank in missed the stringers so we sealed and re-screwed it while we were at it too.

I would be more worried that your floor is starting to rot out. Not a easy task to rip a lag bolt out of fiberglass.
