It's almost impossible to say...It's varies quite dramitically from one boat to another. On a typical boat like your 24 Outlaw, it may be worth 3-4 mph with a prop change with stock horsepower. Some have better success, some less.

Some less desirable results can be, difficulty in planing, blowing out in turns, increased chine walk, etc.
Very intresting. I think I will start with a prop change and see where that gets me before doing something like this.
Thanks again!

I agree with them, from what I can tell you need to work on getting your setup dialed in. It's just a tedious process of running props and recording info. Kinda fun actually, give ya a good reason to lay into the boat for an afternoon...........like I need another good reason

Do you have any type of hydro steering or hydro assists?

Artie,

at 5200 rpm's using a 26" prop you have a speed of 85.5 mph with no slip.

at 5600 rpm's using a 25" prop you have a speed of 88.5 mph with no slip.

take how fast you go in actual mph and you can figure in your slippage. at that point you should have a better understanding of what is going on and what you can do to correct it.

your chine walk issue, what shape is your gimble in? is it still a no HP unit? is it in perfect condition? and the most important is the steering.

Okay, I got another stupid question, so you are saying that if your gimble is in bad shape, that could cause you to chine walk? Define bad shape?

If there is excessive wear on your gimble or other steering components, the drive will have significant side-to-side play. You can check this by hand(How much can you manipulate the drive without steering wheel response). This play will allow the drive to "wander" on its own side to side and will induce or worsen chine walking. It makes it more difficult to outstear any oscillations.

I raised my x-dimension several years ago. BUT, I cannot make an apples to apples comparison because I also added about 100 hp at the same time. I get NO chine walking though. Did not hurt time to plane or handling in any negative way.
