P5-48 24 Outlaw takes 2nd

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to keep you all posted, we finished 2nd in St. Clair in the P-5 class. I am pretty disapointed, to be honest, was looking for another checkered at the finish. The race was shorted by freighter traffic....which is a whole "nuther" issue

Boat ran strong, I just made a bad calcualtion on adding ballast and it ended up hurting us more than helping. The river was chopped up a little on Sat and we thought it would be worse on race day, but it laid down and was a Sunday drive...the wieght hurt us.

Just thought I'd keep you up to speed. I will post some pics when I get the chopper shots back from the photo shop....

See ya, thanks for the support, we are sure having fun!!

A4

Great news!

A4, keep up the good work. I'm sure you will go through some learnng lessons, however, sounds like you are doing great. Hopefullly, there were more than two boats

Where are you going next? Keep us posted. Looking forward to the pics.

Thanks guys. Just a little case of "racer's remorse".

One other thing....a HUGE THANK YOU to Bajaboat (Todd), who once again was an outstanding team member and navigator. Todd is a great guy and a very hard worker and he keeps me calmed down from time to time...hahahahaha.

Special thanks to Matt also. He helps out Todd and I a bunch and I am proud to have him on the team. We sure had a good time up there, but I am still a little disapointed on our finish, to be honest, but thanks again for the comments.

Special thanks to Supplementstogo.com, BW-3 of Novi, Fenton and Sterling Hieghts Michigan, Scholle Motorsports, Reindl Powerboats, XS Performance Marine, Detailed Athletic Wear, Sign4boat.com, La-z-boy, Simpson, Lifeline and Case Designs.

Have a good day

Paul I told Allan the same thing when we were adding some finishing touches to the boat last week. I said just think of all the room you would have on a 33 Outlaw!
Tanks for all the support everyone.
