Hi Guys, I just bought me a house on the lake and I am looking to get a baja boat. This is mostly a ski lake with lots of nautiques. I need something around 20ft or smaller. I would like something that could do 65 to 70mph. What are my options?

See if you could find a used Hammer if you want that speed. Get the 7.4 mpi engine and it should run around 70 no problem. The new 20 Outlaws are sharp also but, I think you will only see around 55-60 in those.

Welcome to the board.

Welcome to the board. Good choice.
Like steel said, a hammer would be perfect.

Welcome to the wonderful world that is Baja!!!!
There was a stock 20 ft Baja Outlaw in the Shootout last weekend and it ran 66mph.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I live down here in San Antonio. The house is on Lake McQueeney. I thought you might be from TX cowgirl. OK, are the outlaw and the hammer the same style of boat? What are the differences besides speed?

Welcome aboard!!
I have just what you need. Follow the link to the broker's listing. It's a Baja 240 Islander (open bow). Hull length is closer to 22 with a molded swim platform. The 502 Mag will push it to 70 mph. Great boat for lakes. Freshwater all it's life.

Contact me if your interested at [email protected] or phone 816-365-6346.

Thanks,
Travis

Thumbs up Welcome

Any Baja you choose will be the right choice. The 20 ft Outlaw is a nice boat.
We here nothing but good ,They are quick and run right at 60mph or better ,who wants to ski at 70 anyway!

GOOD LUCK ON YOUR CHOICE!

David,

I have a 2003 Outlaw 20 with 23 hours on it. It is in like new condition with all the upgrade options plus "extras". My divorce dictates that I sell it at a very good price. Call me if you are interested: 818-590-2271.
