new29ol,

The ramp at Lakeway is very long and steep. I used it last year but I have 4X4 truck. When we went to leave it was raining and the ramp was wet, my buddy with 4X2 truck almost didn't make it. We had to stand in the back of his truck. These were 25 ft boats, your 29 would be even worse unless you have 4X4. I will be pulling my boat this year with the wifes new Suburban non 4X4 and will probably use the dam ramp and have her drive back to Lakeway, not crazy leaving a Suburban with 20" rims sitting there all weekend.

Here are a few pics from last year.

If you look at the pic I posted of Liquid the ramp at Lakeway is in the background next to that ferry boat.

you can, but mansfield is soo much easier AND parking is good too, I dont know what its like at lakeway. Mansfield has a 4 boat ramp, not a single like lakeway.

Thumbs up Lake travis

Maybe I just might come down your way for something to do. How far is it from Oklahoma city and what kind of turnout do you get??? My f350 needs something to do after sitting in the garage all winter
