Bajarunner,
Thanks for the info. Btw, nice truck. 35's on the F250's is perfect in my opinion - not too big but bigger than most! Sounds like the gas mileage would be about the same for me but atleast I'd have more power/torque with the diesel (especially with a chip). I currently get 10mpg in the city and 12mpg on the hwy without the boat. With the boat, I get about 7-8mpg. This is with the noisy 6.0 liter and 4.10 gears. On top of that I'm running super unleaded because of my chip. I've never had a problem with the brakes but they're 4 wheel discs.

Do you have a chip for your 7.3? My buddy has a box on his (selectable 60, 80, 120 hp) and that thing moves. It's fun messing with the ricers and even some vettes! I believe he's getting 16-18 mpg (city/hwy combined - no trailer).

Take care,
Chris

Dont have one yet, but am getting closer to putting one in. the only holdback is ive heard there hard on the transmission. But I have heard they wake em up quite a bit. Definatly worth it on the pulling power. I think the 35's are perfect too.
