Boatless for know
Be sure and mount them this time so they don't beat the sh!t out of your cuddy. Just giving you a hard time!!
I would put them under your rear bench if you have the room. Not sure if 12s will fit. I could only get 10s in mine.

I have mine where bikinilover has his. I think you get the best sound from that location.

IMO, bass usually sounds better coming out of the cabin with the subs facing forward or upward because the cabin acts as a bass chamber. That way the bass has something to bounce off of and reproduce itself. Ever notice how subs sound better in a car or SUV either facing upward or facing the back of the vehicle rather than the subs facing the passengers? Again, just my personal opinion. If you put them under the rear seat, I would definitely recommend building boxes for them. Free-airs just don't hit very hard. I have a free-air Infinity under my rear seat and I can't even tell it's there compared to the sub in the cabin.

I already have 2 10's under the rear bench that hit OK but I guess I'll put my 1,000 watt twelves back up in the vberth like I always do and anchor it to the floor, Busta is right they hit 5 times harder facing the front of the cabin it just does'nt look cool and waste space, but I guess I have a little more space to lose now. I'm going now to install a RF bd.1000.1

I've been around a lot of systems.

When I only had 600w (500 realistic) driving my kickers it sounded great for the wattage.

Now I stepping up to about 1,400w (1,000 realistic) with some Orion XTR Pro (old style) clones that work great in a sealed environment.

If any one is interested in old style HCCA, XTR Pro, or XTR clones I have some samples leftover leftover before Orion went Bankrupt.

Your 1,000 w RF is probably underrated and can out do my 1,400w amp.
