Default Speaking of 29's...anyone know what happened to....

When I bought my Outlaw new in 97 there was a 29 Outlaw SST w/the plumb splash graphics that the CEO or owner of Baja Marine (before it was sold to Brunswick) had built w/twin 525SC's. The thing was FAST and good looking.

Anyone know where that boat is?

Sounds like the one that was tested in Powerboat in '97. Haven't seen it since.

That would be the one. It was out here in Ventura (PBM Corp. office) and the CEO/Owner of Baja (dont recall his name) his son was out here tearing it up offshore. That boat was bad ass! Hauled ass too as I recall.

I've never seen a 29 with staggard engines. Didn't think Baja had built any that way.

I've heard of the 36 and 40' Outlaws having stag. engines but never the smaller ones. It would be tough to do in a 29 and still keep the backseat. The one Tank was talking about was a standard side by side configuration.

Yea, it was standard. I'd like to see and hear of the performance gains on a staggard 29. That thing would be a straight hot rod w/two front bolsters or maybe those tiny little pin holes small females can force themselves into!
