Unfortunately, the already too short boating season here is over. Winterization is complete. Just a little clean up and she will be put away
till Spring. Since i despise Winter, i will spend it staring out the window waiting for May to roll around. Maybe take a cruise. No b.s. plans though...the boat only has 14 hours on it. Hydraulic steering would be nice...although i'm not sure if it is necessary.

Someone makes a kit with a new pulley, belt and intercooler that adds 80+ hp to that motor. They hardly boost in stock trim. If you are opeining her up, put some real pistons in, look to go 8.75 or more compression and that intercooler kit. And yes, you still run pump fuel, and yes it is reliable, and yes I have seen it, and yes a procharged 240 will still outrun it

You are really rubbing it in. I've had to scrape frost from my windshield the last 3 mornings. I'm just jealous, though. My grandfather used to keep his Mako at John's Pass. I have great memories of taking it out with he and my dad in february!

It is the time we spend putting our boat up for a few months of rest while the people that have boats in salt water spend their time and money rerigging all the stuff that the salt ate.

Or the time they Florida residents spend arguing with insurance agents on the market value of their now sunken boat.
