Re: anyone else with hinge problems on cabin couches?
Yeap! Had exactly the same problem, one hinge on each bench. About everytime we went out a pin would fall out and the wife would complain!
Found a real cheap, simple solution that worked like a charm.
Went to Lowes Hardware, and bought what I call a hitch pin.
It is a pin the is straight, then on one end it curves back around and contacts the main part and curves back away from it.
It was the right diameter and length, drove it in with a little help of a hammer and they have been in there over a year with no problems.
Maybe I should call it the CLIP that is used on the hitch pin.
Check out this link, it is the clip. http://www.mm-inet.com/new/751953.htm
Give it a try.
