changing bulkheads repair

changing bulkheads found crack roten spot in bulkhead in front of motor with tinybit of frost boats inside a coverit garage ,do you thing water migth be in the foam under the floors ,should I remove gas tank too?the boats a 88 240 sport 647hp I WAS GOING TO SHAPE OUT A BULKHEAD FOR IN FRONT OF THE CABIN GETTING RID OF THE PLEXIE GLASS

Pics?

Do you have access panels infront of the back seat to see the other side of the bulkhead?

My bulkhead was also rotten. The bulkhead actually had two distictive parts.

One was structural (plywood) where the stingers tie into. The other is above it (balsa core) and is part of the floor.

Sorry for not responding I didn't see any replys wright away I have a bulkhead that even with the floor and is cracked between the stringers what I'm going to do is cut out the roten partif its real bad I'M GOING TO START RIPPEN EVERYTHING UP WHEN i REPLACE THE BULKHEAD it will run straight up the sides to stiffen the boat I already have robs I added next to the bolster seats to stiffen the gunnels seats are new offshore performace S/S STANDS DROP OUT I'LL CHECK LATER IF YOU HAVE ANY Q/A LATER ART

PS PICS I can take some over the weekend if the racoon moved out my two labs chased it last weekend in to my potable garage where the boat is I took a peak inside and I think it went out the back plus I have to learn how to post picks my wifes a programer so I 'LL HAVE TO BRIBE WITH SEX OR WASH HER SUV OR

HEY me to I'm a one finger typer walt I'LL GIVE YOU A CALL DURING THE WEEK BECAUSEITS 1030ETPM. DULL not hear boy do I have some stories ,well I put some moth balls in the boat just to make sure no 4 legged pals kicken around boy do I have a lot of work to do in 14weeks to make the cape race tomorrow I'LL post my top ten list
