Hi Bob,
I am working on my boat at your house. I should be there in about an hour... Where do you keep your tools...
I was working on it at the airport, but now I am over at Great Bay Marine.
What do you have to do to your boat?

Heat Buzz - Nice meeting you today, if you weren't working I would let you help sand the bottom of my drive way ornament . lets hope we all get our boats back together before the Cape Cod race and I'm sure we'll bump into each other in Portsmouth later this year. Good luck

Sounds good Charlie... I will be there, hopefully with my Banana Boat.
I have abandoned any ideas of making my engine transition project look good.
At this point, I know the boat floats and the trailer looks great. If I could just make headway speed at the races I will be happy.
Unfortuneatly, the nice man that I traded my Mercury for is dealing with his wife being in the hospital,(understandebly),and has been consistently blowing me off for the past few months, thus I am with out the remaining parts to finish "Franken Banana".
I am trying not to be over bearing to the guy, but at this point with out a few items, I am screwed and with out a boat this summer.
If anyone can help me out I need the following items.
1. A prop.
2. A throttle cable.
3. An auxillary electric fuel pump for a V8 OMC.
4. A hydraulic steering splitter box or instructions on how to fabricate my own hydraulic line "T" style splitter.
Any ideas are appreciated.

Re: Rigging a Banana with a V8 Johnson
Sorry to hear about all the bad luck in getting up and running this season. If I had any of the parts I'd let you have them but I don't. This sucks sounds like everyone is going to the Cape Races but me! I'm makeing the marathon trip, (down and back in 3 days), down to Boat Tunes for the trailer next weekend. Then switching trailers the next weekend. And a wedding the weekend after that! Wish I could make it to meet everyone, oh well there is always next years races. Hopefully I can meet some of you before then though.

Thanks Bob,
I will measure it today.
I actually have a throttle cable that came from Spoild Banana, albeit old, it still works. Only problem is the plastic end piece that attaches to the engine is broken in half.
Can you order just the end piece?

Monkey Bizness is currently at Great Bay Marine...
Spend the day sanding my transom and filling any cracks and holes...
I was about to spray it, but the skies turned black and rain the size of gaffrig guages fell from the sky...
