Re: 24' banana on E-bay

I have seen that boat in the waters here in Miami and in the keys. The first time i saw it it was a stern drive boat and the 2nd time an outboard. I always asked myself why did they convert it and why the HELL with a yamaha and not a Merc 2.5 If anyone is intrested let me know and i'll be more then happy to go check it out for yall

1988 banana boat - Sold, 1993 banana boat - Sold, 1978 banana boat - Building, 1977 banana boat - Building, 1972 Cigarette 20 - Sold, 1997 Scarab Sprint - Sold, 1989 Jaguar Cat - Sold, Gaff-Rigged Schooner
I asked the seller a question, but haven't heard back yet.

I wanted to know what the serial number was.

It is "NOT" a pantera that is for sure.

That is no doubt a Banana Boat.

Someone removed the helm and mounted the wheel to the bulkhead. Pitched the hatches and grinded off the serial number.

Is it possible that port edgewood popped one out in 2003? Or did this guy loose the HIN on an old banana and called it a new boat?

It looks like somebody put a lot of work into it...
