1988 banana boat - Sold, 1993 banana boat - Sold, 1978 banana boat - Building, 1977 banana boat - Building, 1972 Cigarette 20 - Sold, 1997 Scarab Sprint - Sold, 1989 Jaguar Cat - Sold, Gaff-Rigged Schooner
Actually there were five yellow Banana's Built.

1976 Banana Split, yellow I/O

1978 Breakaway, yellow twin outboard

1986/87 Mike Snows first race boat was yellow and stock with twin Mercs. Up unitl last summer located in Connecticut with stock twin 225hp Mecurys on the back and only a 25 gallon tank.

The second Mike Snow boat was B73 "yellow" and was the 2 seater with twin 2.4 mercs. Recently for sale, but purchased by Port Edgewood Marina last summer.

There is another one in Florida that used to be on a triple axle trailer that is all stock. This boat was a 1985 and has always been listed as a special edition because of the extra teak used in the cabin including the door.

I new the guy that rigged it. The hydraulic steering was a very nice set up.

Twin Mercury 200hp outboards last I knew.

speaking of "banana split" - the owner recently contacted me and lives in MD. Here's some photos of what she looks like now - not bad for 31 yrs old! The present owner is planning a complete restoration back to the "banana split" colors etc. as this is literally the very first complete production banana boat built in April 1976.
