Your opinion please!
We have been working on developing a line of Center Consoles and are not sure if we should use the same name as our sport boats....please give us your opinion.
Would Banana Boat be okay to use with outboard powered Center Consoles?...actually even sterndrive models will be made for the 27 footer.
The 27 footer comes from the 27 Magnum hull mold which is 8 feet wide and the 53 is a stretched 36 foot Cigarette 10 feet wide.

Same name: Banana Boat
Lots of builder builders build both lines.

Charlie,
I think you should go with Banana Boat even on CC boat product line. Maybe, I say just maybe, you can use another name as an under label but allways with: "By Banana Boats Co"
Love that yellow 27! Looks awesome.

Thanks for the input everyone. Mange I figured you would like that. Sorry I missed you in Miami.
We are going to develop a sport deck for that 27 hull now that we own that set of molds too.

So you're going to build both the old 28' Cig and 27' Mag as sport boats?
Hmmm...
Now which one is better?

The Cig we are keeping exactly as it was.....a classic.... only this time with a single, rather than the sterndropping twin set up the old boats had.
The Magnum....now we have a little more latitude here....Bobby Saccenti has an old Apache design deck that we are taking a serious look at.
We have talked about coming out with a signature edition of his, with that deck.....a little Apache with twins....look at the 41, now look at it as a 27.

If our 1978 28' Cig had been a single we'd still own it.
Any time we left that boat in the water, I could sleep; man she sat low. Not much fun changing the plugs in the middle either and we had small blocks.
Building the 28 as a single engine makes lots of sense...
