Banana 1976

Providence Show
Went to the show on fri and it was worth the price of admission just to see the new 24. The boat looks amazing the fit and finish is perfect. The new decks w/ out the nonskid look very new and bring a bit of modern styling to the boat but they still retain the classic look that we all love about the Banana's.
It was pretty cool since both Charlie and Mike Perette were there. I was able to talk to them about my 1976 boat and they rembered the boat like it was yesterday. Charlie talking about racing in it and Mike telling me how they built it for his Grandfather.
Get off your Computers and go check the new boats out. the show is only till Sunday.

For those who could not make it, here are some shots of the 24 foot boat at the show.
Note the one piece molded windshield....no bracket in the middle like the old days.

A little more cockpit and of the cabin treatment and the yellow couches just inside the door to the cabin.

The 24's start in the high 40's and go up with your own ideas for additions that you want.
This boat goes almost 65.
