Yes....a rumor we all wanted to believe.

But one thing that is fact .......is that Johnny Tomlinson of TNT Marine in Miami, said that during the show he will sell all Mercury outboards at his dealer cost........short time could be a great deal for anyone looking for a 300 Optimax........STEVE, are you listening?

I just called and left him a message, hopefully I can work it out. It would be nice to have another black motor on the back of my boat.

Johnny Tomlinson is one of the all time good guys. He has been on so many winning boats, it is hard to keep count.

He also has the ear of Mercury for the new technology stuff. A good connection to keep Steve.

Pay the $1500 and tell him to rig it to ......run the fastest it can.....you will get a lot more than the 1500 in return.

my wife has not been in my boat in since 95,cause thats when I put the big motor dry exhaust on. but still married and she promised to get out on the saber28 this summer even though its going to have 5'' dry exhaust and another 500hp over the last motor =1100hp or so. go for it. bring her to block when we all go. or meet up with mike/gerry/steve and the rest of us on the bay thats my plans.ps I might put bolt on muffs for when she comes out and for the lakes. art
