Default 24' Banana convert OB to inboard w/bravo

Has anyone ever converted a 24' banana OB (w/bracket) to an I/O? Are there any differences in the transome/stringers on an I/O vs. OB? Looking at the possibility of converting an OB into a BBC with Bravo. Appreciate your thoughts.

I looked into doing it.

Here is what you have to do.

1. Close in Transom, (might as well replace it as the transoms are usually weak if it's an older boat).

2. Move the stringers closer together or run a second set of them inside the current ones, (outboard stringers are farther apart).

3. Make a new hatch to cover the larger engine compartment.

4. Buy engine, transom plate, gimble, upper / lower drive.

5. Post pics...

Before you rule out an outboard, why not spend the extra money and just add a couple more and have three of them like this boat.....24 foot Banana with triple 2.5 Merc's
