It a OB, open tramson, but I'm going to close it. The 25" sounds right, I hear it helps to keep the water from swamping the power head? Anyway I'm not too worried about losing 3-4 mph so I'm going with the swim platform. Now would I have to cut the splash well completely out since I'm going to use the area for storage and a sun pad? The guy that makes the platforms, about $1400 on E Bay for a heavy duty, says to just mount a metal plat across the inside for a little extra strenght.

I was trying to send you photos of the stern of my boat... but due to my membership I could not forward them ot you.. If you go to Yachtworld and plug in Banana you will see my boat. the photos do show the area you are looking at and pherhaps you can decide from there.

I see a 2008 for sale, is that yours? Anyway the sun pad looks nice as does the one piece front V Beth mat.
