Default Cool narrow channel in FL keys

Been spending a lot of time in Islamorada & Plantation key lately. here's a quick vid of going thru a narrow channel on plane...note how cloudy the water is - VERY shallow.

would've been able to go all the way thru if it wasn't for the canoe traffic lol

Looks fun. Always feels & looks faster when your in a narrow or in your case very narrow area. Gives you reference points to judge speed vs open water.
Pretty cool.

@ scarab63 thx yeah looks a lot faster when it's so narrow


@rchevelle Ahhh too bad - would have loved to run with your Pantera. Back in FTL now - was keeping boat down there may & June

Whenever ya wanna run, I am in Boca, but run anywhere from Palm Beach to the keys, and even make it to the west coast occoasionally We are running from Homestead to Islamorada Saturday.

Can you state exactly where this is? I googled maps and could not find this channel in the areas listed above? Thanks and very cool.

Lower Matecumbe, west of US1 about MM76-77, I have a good friend that has a house at MM75.7 just to the left of where they met up after coming through the channel...
