fastest banana setups?
Well things have been slow around the board lately. So I figured I would ask this question. What was or is the fastest banana? And what was the best numbers heard of for all the different setups. Twin i/o, single sb+bb i/o, single and twin o/b? Just wondering.

Re: fastest banana setups?
I would think that Hells Banana's is the fastest still running. Although I heard that there is a Banana on Winnie with twin 300hp merc OB on it. Do you know if this is true Adam?
By the way there is a guy in Bedford N.H. selling a pair of 98 merc 300, he just upgraded to a set of 2005 300x's. Dude those would go nice on your boat, you could give xXx a run for his money and be the fastest boat on Winnie. Just imagine!

Re: fastest banana setups?
Heat, I havn't seen any other banana's on winni. But Andrew told us we could go out on Hell's Banana when he gets the gremlins out of it agian. Your bro should pick up those mercs. and sell the one he has now to recoupe some of the cash output. I need to stick with the OMC's. Thanks for the info though. If you should hear of anyone getting rid of a 300 OMC though let me know.
Oh, who has the 90+ mph Banana that was mentioned in the manhasset bay poker run threads a while back?

UPDATE - Fastest Banana Boat located
Hello,
My name is Chris. I am the owner of "Monkey Bizness". It is a 1989 Banana Boat and it is in fact the fastest Banana Boat in the world.
It was documented on a video that I have since lost and it was also in a magazine that I can't seem to find, but there is no question that my Banana boat is the uncontested Banana Champ.
Anyone want to challenge me???

What's the setup on it JC? And what kind of numbers?
Also what are Charlie sr., Charlie jr., and MRv8's input on this topic?

JCPERF,
Okay, we will race, but I have to warn you that my single engine 200hp stock egg beater pushes deep vee monster in excess of 50mph....
Nice looking Banana. Was that the one that was for sale about a year or two back in Lindhurst, NY on long Island?
Welcome to the Banana Board...
Chris
