IIRC, Fred made an ass of himself by standing on his soapbox after the fact and ranting about how he knew about the BS scam from the start.

That's the downside of OSO. We have the tendency to take people at face value and accept what they say as the truth. Most BS'ers are caught quick. Sometimes the pros take a little longer to ferret out. BS was a sociopath and a pathological liar. Sometimes it takes a professional working with them face-to-face to figure that out.

i just got off the phone with amex. they only look into claims that are less than 60 days old. no exceptions. sol.com i guess

Agreed.

But also... the BS'rs tend to catch the BS'rs quicker I think, because they are wired to think that way. You are what you say you are, and of course... I actually know that because I have looked you in the eye... not to mention the fact that you use your name as a screen name. Crazy... but straight up real.
