On another note, I'd bring LOTS OF DOCUMENTATION if you have the law get involved publicly.
As a past victim on that same lake, I'd hate to be making accusations against an innocent party.
Keep it neat and clean and presentable.

Kind of hard to follow with the other thread missing.
So...you have met and talked to the guy. GEEEZ that sucks.
You traded 2 items that expensive in your driveway and that was it ??
What did he tow the boat away with ?

Not me. If you see him out on the lake I would make sure you have everything you need and let the LAW handle it.
Especially on the Forsyth side they were pretty thorough.

So he hands Just in 6K in green and his trade in was HOT as a tamale your neighbors and he's driving the boat 15 mins from your place on the same lake like nothing ever happened .... sounds like theres more to the story spill the beans

they are not neighbors nor does the guy use the boat on our local lake. the boat has been reported stolen(theft by deception) but local law enforcement is not really looking for the boat as much as they are looking for the person that titled the tahoe. I was a cop for a number of years and the sad truth is is that unless we help him locate this boat or the person driving it happens to get pulled over the boat is gone.
yes he made a stupid decision to do this deal but the fact of the matter is is that we have all made a mistake or two along the way. remember Justin is in his early 20's and this is a huge learning experience for him so cut him some slack. he is the one that got screwed on the deal hell after justin realized the boat was stolen he google the guy and he has a video on youtube saying " I STEAL CARS MFR'S) its quite obvious what happened here. A young guy was a little naive and got taken advantage of. Whats the old saying about something to good to be true?
