Scammed by Cliffton Edward Morse & David Warner Parsons
I was scammed by these two in 2009 - I bought two rebuilt Mercruisers off Ebay. I sent the money to a joint account in their name, no engines were ever sent.
I lost $11,000 .................. an expensive lesson learned.
Personally I do not understand why this case was not solved, but the purpose of this post is not to complain, but to warn you all to stay clear of any dealings with these guys.
My last correspondance with the Police is below.
Hello Officer Cody,
I'd appreciate an update on this case, it's been 8 months now.
I would like to hope this guy would be in jail by now or is doing community labour.
Cliff should have been relatively easy to track down as the bank had his and his buddies details. I would think all you would need is his social security number and that would be the end of him.
I talked to his bank and they would not disclose his details to an individual.
I got my bank to contact his bank for a refund, but one of them has emptied the account.
I have tried to contact Cliff numerous times unsuccessfully. Cliff never replies to my emails.
Any updates are appreciated,
Yours sincerly,
Blaine Hanson

The seller has since vanished with the money. He does not answer his email - ebay or yahoo account or answer his phone.
You will also see if you now check out his ID in ebay, he has not delivered many sales in ebay to many clients since mine.
Before that time cliff morse had a good ebay record.
