100percent agreement here.

I/my company has been victim to many thefts of excavators, tools, building materials, toys at the shop, etc... over the past 20 years.

NEVER ONCE did I come out anywhere close to even on my losses after cashing the check for the claim.

I hope the detective who was assigned the case works it with some heart and legwork during his investigation.
Situations like this suck bigtime for the owners of property and the business too.

See ya,
Kelly

Sounds fishy to me, no pun intended... Will be interesting who the people involved are, in taking the boat and how they tie into everything...

Worst part, the dealership takes a hit, when it appears the boat was specifically targeted by the thieves for what ever reason. (my understanding it had JUST been listed for sale as well.... hmmmmmm)

checked the vin??? whoa... thats def not your average rip job......

the plot thickens.....

Sounds like a fairly well planned crime. They now what they are looking for, double checking, and sounds like they had a place large enough to do the rip and it was relatively close by? ...but then they were dumb enough to get fingered on video? If was recently listed for sale, I know where I would look first.

I sure hope these guys are apprehended soon. Sorry to hear and good luck!

Where is it that you would start looking first?

I was heading home Tuesday afternoon & about 5 miles outside of Osage beach I was pulled over by 3 squad cars, they had a report of a stolen 30' boat being pulled by a Black Ford 1 Ton dully. The truck matched but I was pulling a 47' Fountain. They were super nice & after about 10 minutes or so I was back on my way.

Wow reading this story and the top gun story from edgewater md just piss'$$ you off and also makes you wonder what the odds of these a holes being actually are? Steeling a 35 fountain is as bold as it gets! Stealing those drives off the top gun is no easy task either at night time while you are trying to be sneaky about it..... definitely not done by rag tag thieves. I wish the parties in both stories luck.
