Called about about a diffrent boat he has lised 3 days ago didn't know it was him. Untill after the fact I wouldn't have called. Talking about a boat that's been listed for years. Then he tells me he has that 33 pp. Then it all came back and could careless what boats he had to sale! not to mention he rembered me calling and asking a about it!

Asked why he didn't call me back and got this " thought you found a boat by now". What a idoit. In this time for the market i would be jumping on every sale I could. Guess he is just saleing to many to care at the time.

Made me laugh to read this thread.

I inquired to a very large Sea Ray dealer about a Baja they have.

A few emails in and it was like pulling teeth for info on the boat.

like said above,,,,they must have to much buisness.

Im sure the owner of the brokered boat wouldnt be happy though

I had a similar experience. I told him no deposit until we are ready for a sea trial. I would have to see the boat before I gave him a deposit. He didn't like it, but we proceeded. I made an offer on the boat. Beav said the seller countered and sent me the offer sheet with the old price crossed out and a higher price above it, but it was not initialed by the Seller. The Seller's signature was illegible and I requested he print the name of the seller on the offer sheet, get the price change initialed and I would have my surveyor check out the boat and then I would do a sea trial if everything was as represented. He told me the Seller was a fireman, 3 days on, 3 days off, and couldn't answer phone calls, email's or texts while on duty (year, right!), so it may be a few days before he gets back to me. He had earlier told me the seller was a retired fireman who had an injury or disability that would not allow him to operate the boat and that was why he was selling. A week later, I get an email from the Beav saying the boat was sold. Beav has had the boat listed since July and it's still listed as of today. I seriously doubt the boat was ever for sale.

How does this guy maintain a broker's license? Is there somewhere to lodge a complaint with the state?
