That's total B.S. That's a disregard for your safety, the safety of your passengers, and everyone else. The Insurance Co. should make his azz pay for the damages for NOT wearing his lanyard Instead they will just pass the cost onto the rest of the ins. paying customers by raising rates.

slow down to a comfortable speed and make sure you have plenty of distance between you and the other boat. i tend to try and cross the wakes as perpendicular as i can but its not always necessary.

Probably the same ones who snicker at a Nascar or Formula 1 driver with all their safety gear on too..........

FLAT... if you land with your azz end first that is what will drive your nose down and that is where you can get in trouble.
Take the course from Tres and Brad, even though you have a 31 footer, you will have the knowledge for life as you may move into different boats in the future

Yep, there were some great suggestions in a previous thread about lanyards regarding different methods of attachment. Personally, I like the PWC wristband.

I agree. It's the same old scenario. The actions of a few idiots will eventually cause everyone to pay the price. I always wear mine. As far as testing it I never do. Hell I walk away from the helm (while in neutral) at least once a month, no need for testing there.

I assume you mean with your lanyard attached, killing the motors? That's the joke...you "test" them monthly it seems

No, I think the boat went across the rock reef by the Lodge and then the community dock that is near the point inside of the reef.
