The boat that rolled was a 30 supthen. He then ordered the 39, bad a$$ boat, I know because he gave me his truck, credit card, and a pocket full of money to pick it up at Innovations Marine and test run it for 2 or 3 days in Sarsota to see if it would stay together or break. I came home after the first day, it gets boring running a boat wide open all day long by yourself. He kept the 39 but started racing a 30 Velocity before the Fountain.

That was more of a case of the baot being run to fast in the rough (some might argue that is was also not trimmed out right or that the tabs weren't down enough). In that incident he was not wake jumping.

What was the outcome of that roll? Was there a specific reason why it went skyward like it did? Did you guys ever figure out if it was trimmed wrong or was it just a freak accident? I only ask because I used to own an ocean pacer and it seemed to be a very stable boat. What did he end up doing with his 39?

Kurt and I never really talked about the cause, but seeing the video it looks that He hit the wake at the wrong angle running up, it not across it. No one was hurt, just embarrassed.

At the Ct river urn this year Sew Fast (Sutphen 26 Rum runner) got every bit of that high and that straight up and down off my brothers fountain wake. Landed it perfect!

Had video of the fountain and just missed the launch and landing of Sew fasts boat, but you can here everyone on my boat say HOLY SH&^ when he flew it.
