driver didn't have it set up right to launch off that wake. That boat may not have flown very level regardless, if so he should know have known its charactaristics and not pushed it.

Showing off and ego,but only minimal skills. It is the cause of nearly all of these type of crashes

I remember when that happened. I believe the local boat club stopped having "wake jumping" after that incident.
