Infant PFD recommendation?

Can anyone suggest a good PFD for an infant that is suitable for recreational (not high performance/racing) boating? Is there any specific brand you have used that has been durable and that verifiably keeps a baby face up? Our other kids were older before they hit the water, so we don't have a suitable PFD for the baby right now.

Thanks!

I think ours was a Stearns infant life vest. It had a large pad for the head to lay on. I never tried it out in the water though. He mostly slept on it in the cabin of our Sea Ray...that was about 5 years ago

Get a neoprene one if you can, we have both kinds and my kids like them more. They still complain when you put it on them but once underway they forget its there.

Thumbs up found one

Ended up finding a Mustang Lil' Legends model that fits our son pretty well. They say that fit is about the most important parameter. He doesn't like wearing it, but it seems like it's made pretty well. Cabela's had it on sale so that was a bonus. Thanks for the suggestions.

I think that is the best infant life vest available. I've used it for my son from 8 months to about 2 and now my daughter been using it since she has been 5months old. They definitely don't like wearing it, at least until we start moving and they fall asleep
