Thanks for that Ta12sec, 250 miles is a long way by boat!
Still looks nice, outsiders like me would be amazed even if it's just a normal day out to some of you guys.

250 miles is not the problem.

My concern is getting over there and getting bad weather for a few days and being stuck.

The 250 miles isn't to bad, I've done it on a sailboat, that's a long trip. You can island hop across, Bimini-berrys-Nassau-staniel. I really want to make an exuma trip this summer.

We are going to try to take the Statement on a 10-14 day adventure over there....hitting most of those islands next summer.

I've heard August is the best time to go.

There are pigs on No Name cay in the Abacos.... we left Stuart for west end then around to lubbers Quarters Cay for a week, it was an awesome trip. In 7 days we did over 650 miles in the boat, 200 each way & 250 screwing around checking everything out. If you need any info on the Abaco's let me know or do your self a favor & get the Steve Dodge book, tons of useful information

Exuma is a great spot to visit. The pigs on Big Major Cay are great fun for the kids too. 10/10 would visit again.
