mine now is high the prop shaft is 2 1/2 below bottom, I was wondering if someone has changed there x from the original trs height. Not sure is what i have now is to high.

I did my 24 excalibur which is the same hull at 17.5 x dimension with a bravo 454 set up. Still could run a 3 blade mirage.

Frank's Marine race boat had his high. I think he was around 18 w/no box. He might have had the hole cut at 19 because I remember seeing a 1" spacer on drive to lower it.

Whoever made this guess is almost correct. The Frank's Marine Scorpion A-78, X Dimension was 19 1/4" high, because the bottom hull had a delta pad. That height was perfect for calm water. I had a drive with a 1" spacer for rough water conditions. Both set-ups were excellent for each condition.

I recommend for a pleasure boat with a delta pad and regular Bravo drive, an 18 1/2" height.
