Default SS7M Help Please

Hey All, I am going to be looking at possibly purchasing a 1981 SS7M 24 footer. Just a few questions if you all don't mind.

I know this is a almost 30 year old boat, but are these hulls prone to rot in any areas of the hull? transom? engine mounts? etc? If so how do I check for this? Is there an easy way?

This boat has a 454 with a TRS drive and Borg Warner trans. I have been told the seats have been repaired but the cabin looks to be original.

I will going to check her out as soon as I can get a day off, just looking for any pointers on what to look for as I am not to familiar with these hulls.

Thanks in advance to all who care to chime in!!

Don't know whats the deal with it now as the day I posted this and you all started to chime in... the ad on craigslist disappeared! So either it sold, or he decided to keep it... who knows?
