Somebody give me some opinions on this Boat.
This boat looks like more of a project than I really want to get into! But a 26 to 28 foot twin O/B is what I'm lusting after.
Opinions Please.

Well, if twin O/B's blow you're skirt up, I'd say go for it. The eggbeaters alone must be well worth the 20K, let alone the hull, which is a great find. The C-Hawk trailer is built for a tank, (I have one) and will serve you well - but that walmart winch the guy's put on it has to go.
The bolsters, carpet, mahogany, radio, throttles, (i diddn't get to the cabin...It was taking too long) all need TLC - ie start again.
That hull is worth every penny. Just my .02

I have an '84 model with 260 2.5 efi's and offshore exhaust and sportmasters. Boat is a blast. This one looks to be in OK shape. You can pick up those motors for 3-4 k ea. 12k for the boat and trailer is top dollar. Sellers is right, on the rairity though. Mike Combs said they only built about 10 over that many years. If the deal falls through on this one look me up. I could part with mine. Strcturally it's sound but needs some detailing and TLC. Shoot me your e-mail and I'll send you some pictures. Good luck.
