1999 Checkmate 283 Convincor
Fuel tank material

I'm still learning the ins and outs of my new-to-me boat, a 1999 283 Convincor. What type of gas tank would this boat have -- fiberglass or aluminum?

My 1995 283 Convincor has a 130 gallon aluminum fuel tank with 2 pickups and 2 returns that are threaded into 3/8 NPT bungs under the board inside the back seat. Only 1 pickup is used on my carb motor and the others are plugged off.

Both my old boats had aluminum tanks 240 Convincor and ZT 280.
